Negative ions (anions)
Ions are atoms or molecules that have gained or lost an electrical charge.
Negative ions are atoms or molecules with a negative charge. Negative ions are odorless, tasteless, and invisible. In nature, negative ions are created when air molecules broken apart by the sunlight, cosmic radiation and moving air or water. Negative ions can be produced in nature by some minerals and volcanic rocks. These rocks are used in industry for ceramic powders used in a lot of technological domains and medicine.
High concentrations of negative ions can be found in nature in mountain forests, waterfalls, and beaches where people feel energized and invigorated.
